Fighting The Flesh

Part 1

It feel’s uncontrollable, unattainable. Every time I feel like I have control, it just seems to slip away.

“For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh. For I have the desire to do what is right, but not the ability to carry it out.”

Romans 7:18

Why lord do I battle my own flesh? Why am I so weak and temped under my own skin?

“Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin.”

Romans 7:25

Taking control of what is mine! I control my flesh, flesh doesn’t control me!

“But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.”

Romans 13:14

Lord I find strength in you! Because when I pray I believe that my flesh has lost!

“Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
